I find this attitude chauvinistic. It means that you are the husband so how can you walk with her? Do you ever ask Aishwarya why she walks the red carpet with me at the premieres of my films? She attends all my events, but I cannot accompany her. That’s wrong. If my wife supports me, then it’s my duty to support her.
Q. What do you respect most About Aishwarya ?
She’s very down-to-earth, rooted, simple and real. She’s very beautiful, which everyone knows. But as a person, she is far more beautiful. She’s not what you’d expect her to be. You may think she’s an internationally known star and so beautiful, so she must be have an attitude. But Aishwarya connects with you easily. Strangely, there are a lot of similarities between her and dad. They don’t project themselves as stars. They are only bothered about their work.
Q. Don’t you miss her on screen?
Right now, she is on a set shooting a commercial. I love her work very much and would love to watch her on screen again. When she signs a film is her decision. She should find something interesting. Right now, Aaradhya is very young. Aishwarya wants to be with her. When she finds it right to work, she will. An actor should sign a film for emotional reasons. It can’t be financial or strategic.
Q. Will Aishwarya and Aaradhya join you abroad?
Yes. It’s impossible to stay without them.

السلام عليكم بعيت إقولكم عاشق اشواريا بخير ويسلم عليكم بس عنده ظروف شويه وان شاء لله على الخميس أو بالكثير الجمعه بدش المنتدي وتكون ظروفه ان شاء لله خالصه وكان مريض شوي وغير هذا كله عاشق اشواريا يسلم عليكم ويمووت عليكم حدا فاقدكم وعاشق جايبلكم خبر مؤكد لأيشواريا من سايقهم الهندي صديق سايقهم يشتغل عند إيشواريا بالإفلام وجذي ويقولكم ان إيشواريا مخرج نقى إيشواريا بعمل جديد يعني فيلم وايشواريا انعجبت بالنص ميه بالميه واحتمال على نهاية شهر 11 أو 12 بتصور الفيلم وفوق هذا كله صديق سايقهم 3 أو 4 أيام بجيب حق راجو سايقهم رقم إيشواريا ويقول كلموها بالانجليزي فعاشق يا حظظظه بكلمها إذا جا الرقم ويقولها متى ترجعين للسينما ونبيج تمثلين مع شاروخان وهرتيك وأرجون وطبعا أنا بنت خالة عاشق اشواريا وأتوقع الكل يدري بيت إيشواريا ومع السلامه :*

According to TOI , Mani Ratnam is planning a film adaptation of the renowned Daphne Du Maurier's famous 1938 novel Rebecca.
Ratnam and Ash have already worked together in a few noted films such as Iruvar (1997), Guru (2007) and Raavan (2010) so they share a very good equation both professionally and personally.
According to the source, the filmmaker is currently busy putting the script together. "Rebecca, the novel is about a
newly married woman who is constantly compared to the first wife of her husband by the housekeeper. While she feels belittled by the shadow of the deceased lady of the house, she later realises that her husband was never in love earlier. Ratnam is currently adapting the entire novel into a more contemporary Indian setup," added the source. There are already two Hindi film adaptations of the novel 'Rebecca' - Kohra (1964) starring Waheeda Rehman and Biswajeet and the more recent Anamika (2008) starring Minissha Lamba, Dino Morea and Koena Mitra.
It goes without saying the Ash will be portraying the role of the lead protagonist in the novel, Mrs de Winter. If everything goes to plan, the film should go on floors by late next year and is expected to hit the theatres in 2014
