Tidbits: Big B Plays Colonel Sunil Damle in a role written by Javed Akhtar. Though the shooting was wrapped up in mid-December 2003, Farhan wanted to concentrate on the post-production of the film. The sound designing is being executed in Australia to maintain the quality of the film. The movie brings Amitabh Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan together for the second time, after Karan Johar's smash hit K3G. It's not just Hrithik Roshan who has gone for a new hairdo for his army-men look in this movie. His leading lady in the film, Preity Zinta will also be seen in a completely different and mind-blowing hairstyle in the film. Just keep waiting and guessing.

Tidbits: Vipul Shah would have scrapped the project if Big B had declined to do the role. This emotional film centers on father-son relationship in which Big B is fighting death and hopes that his son played by Akshay would shoulder the family responsibility after his death.

“Amit-ji comes without the trappings of a star. He doesn't fuss about the outfits he has to wear, nor does he throw tantrums on the sets. He's an avid watcher and learner. For him, what matters is work. No wonder, every director desires to work with him some time in his career. And when you work with him once, you want to keep working again and again,” Shah states.

The mahurat of the film was held on Juhu Beach on November 24th 2003. A podium was erected right in the middle of the beach with an audiovisual presentation by Priyanka Chopra followed by performance of Akshay, Amitabh and Priyanka.

Tidbits: The shooting for this ABCorp film, co-starring Abhishek, begins next month. Speculations about Santoshi making a choice between Lara Dutta and Gul Panag have been doing the rounds for quite some time, but Santoshi maintains that no such developments have taken place.
