Catch the first look of ‘ABCD 2’
The first look of the much-awaited sequel to India’s first 3D dance movie ‘ABCD: Any Body Can Dance’ is finally out. It features the lead stars Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, Prabhudheva along with Remo D’Souza.
We have already seen Varun in a cool boy look, but watching Shraddha in a sexy, glamorous avatar will be a treat. ‘ABCD: Any Body Can Dance’ released in 2013 and was highly appreciated by the critics. The sequel promises even more fun and some out-of-the world dance sequences.
The movie will also feature Ganesh Acharya, Dharmesh, Lauren Gottlieb, Punit Pathak and Salman Yusuff Khan. ‘Any Body Can Dance 2’ will go on floors in June 2014. The shooting will begin in Las Vegas (as can be seen on the poster). It is expected to release in 2015

It is inspired by the true story of an Indian dance troupe that participated in the world Hip Hop Dance Championships. Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor will play the lead roles, in their first-ever pairing. Remo will return as director and choreographer, as will Prabhu Dheva. The film will be shot in Las Vegas, USA, with over 10 song-and-dance sequences.
“Last year, ABCD took audiences by storm, and we instantly knew that it was one of those movies that naturally lend themselves to becoming a true-blue franchise. Remo and Prabhu are back in action again, and we’re delighted to welcome on board Varun and Shraddha to take the franchise forward. While ABCD 2 is about great dancing, awesome music and the 3D format, it is also an incredibly emotional and dramatic story,” said Siddharth Roy Kapur, managing director, Disney India.
“Dance has always been my passion and, through ABCD, I saw my passion come to life on the big screen. I am thrilled with the audience’s response to the first movie, and it has prompted me to make a sequel. I’m happy that Disney is supporting me to make this happen,” said Remo.

قال سيدهارث روي كابور، المدير التنفيذي لـ Disney India عن ABCD 2 انه عظيم وهو عن الرقص والموسيقى رهيبة وبتنسيق 3D، بل هو أيضا قصة عاطفية ومثيرة بشكل لا يصدق.
وقالت ريمو : "لقد كان الرقص دائما شغفي و، من خلال ABCD، رأيت شغفي يأتي الى الحياة على الشاشة الكبيرة. أنا سعيدة مع رد فعل الجمهور على الفيلم الأول، وقد دفعني الى ان اصنع تكمله . أنا سعيده أن ديزني تدعمني لتحقيق ذلك " .
