Priyanka Chopra’s strength is her work ethic: Troy Carter

Renowned music manager Troy Carter is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Atom Factory, a music management brand. Carter has established the careers of numerous recording artists, including multi-platinum GrammyŸ- Award winner Lady GaGa and will now manage Priyanka Chopra.

He began his career in Philadelphia working for Will Smith and James Lassiter's Overbrook Entertainment. In an interview with Nandini Raghavendra, he says why Chopra is set to take on the world stage.

What is the one ingredient that made you see the potential in PC that can take her onto the global stage.

She's a triple threat—she has the ability to sing, dance, and act which is a rare trait amongst artists. She will be the first bonafide pop artist to come directly out of India.

Can you share some of your plans and preparations to launch her music career?

The primary plan is to let the music speak for itself. Priyanka and Red One made a great record that we think will stand on its own. People won't buy the music just because she is who she is. We want them to buy it because it's good.
