This seems to be the season for high profile exits. Following Deepika Padukone's walkout of Race 2, this newspaper has learnt, Kareena Kapoor, too has decided to opt out of Ekta Kapoor and Milan Luthria's Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Part 2. And although it was widely rumoured that Kareena may be reconsidering the project due to the possible inclusion of Shahid Kapoor as the second male lead, Mumbai Mirror found out that the truth is far from it.

According to a source close to the actress, it wasn't the second male lead but 'uncertainties' around the project that forced the actress to finally opt out of the film.

"Kareena, who had already committed to the Balaji production was not very happy with the way things were going," revealed the source and added, "All she knew was that she was to play Mandakini's role in the film. The second actor had still not been finalised and Kareena's dates were also not fixed. Around a couple of weeks back, Kareena asked the producers, Balaji, to get back to her with all the details including exact shoot dates, the second lead actor and the final script. Balaji failed to do that. As a result, Kareena has opted out of the project."

Even while Balaji kept her waiting, Kareena was offered another major project in the interim. "It is a big film by a celebrated filmmaker, whose last film had two a-list actors in unconventional roles. The filmmaker’s dates seem to clash with Balaji’s. Kareena decided to opt for the former, since it looked better planned, unlike Once Upon A Time…," added the source.

There is also the buzz about Kareena's wedding plans, which may have to do something with her cdecision to walk out of the Balaji film. " Saif Ali Khan had announced that the wedding may take place after the release of Agent Vinod. With her wedding round the corner, Kareena of course did not want any distractions. And she is already working on Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine. The wedding might take place around the end of 2012," said the source.

Kareena Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor remained unavailable for comment.

طبقًا لمصدر قريب من الممثّلة، لم يكن الصدارة الذّكريّة الثّانية لكنّ شكوك حول المشروع أنّ أجبر الممثّلة للأخيرًا اختيار من الفيلم .

كارينا الّذي بالفعل قد التزم بإنتاج بالاجي كان غير سعيدًا جدًّا بالطّريقة الّتي بها الأشياء كانت تسير، كشفت عن المصدر و أضافت، كل شيء عرفت كان أنها كان لعب دور مانداكيني في الفيلم . الممثّل حتّى الآن الثّاني لم يُنْهَى و كانت تواريخ كارينا غير محدّدةً أيضًا . حوالي أسبوعان ثانية، كارينا سأل المنتجين، بالاجي، للرّجوع إليها بكلّ التّفاصيل متضمّنًا دقيق يصيب البلح، ممثّل الصدارة الثّانية و الإجابة النّهائيّة . فشل بالاجي في عمل ذلك . نتيجة لذلك، كارينا قد اختار من المشروع .

حتّى بينما أبقاها بالاجي تنتظر، كارينا عُرِضَ مشروع رئيسيّ آخر في أثناء ذلك . إنّه فيلم كبير من قبل منتج أفلام شهير، لمن كان لدى الفيلم الأخير ممثّلان مشهوران في الأدوار الغير تقليديّة . تواريخ منتج الأفلام تبدو أن تشتبك مع بالاجي . قرّر كارينا إيثار السّابق، منذ بدا أفضل خطّط، بخلاف ذات مرّة .، أضاف المصدر .

أيضًا هناك طنين عن خطط عرس كارينا الّتي قد ترتبط شيئ ما مع كديسيجن ها للمشي من فيلم بالاجي . قد أعلن سيف علي خان أن العرس قد يحدث بعد تحرير فينود الوكيل . بعرسها قريبًا، كارينا بالطّبع لم يرد أيّ عوامل مشتّتة . و تعمل على بطلة مادر بهانداركار بالفعل . قد يحدث العرس حول نهاية ال2012، قال المصدر .
