If things go as they should, Akshay Kumar will set a new benchmark. Now, we all know that the satellite rights of Karan Johar’s action-packed Agneepath were sold for a record price. The next action film that’s sizzling is Akshay Kumars’s Rowdy Rathore. If sources are to be believed, UTV Motion Pictures was approached with a mammoth Rs 38 crore. But the corporate turned down the offer because it’s expecting – hold your breath – an eye-popping Rs 45 crore. What’s more, they’re confident the deal will go through!We’re also told that the actor, who’s also the producer of the film, is expecting to net at least Rs 43 crore plus for the film. If the deal goes as planned, we dare not imagine what that will do to the satellite rights game.
