Bollywood Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was in Singapore for an awards event last January 16th, but that wasn't the only newsworthy thing she did while in Southeast Asia.
Various reports has surfaced claiming she threw gave the organizers a hard time by not showing up for rehearsals, refused to come on stage unless the award she was receiving was handed out by the likes of Hrithik Roshan or Shah Rukh Khan.
According to the same report, the organizers had to accommodate her every request as the main attraction of the show.
The actress has refuted claims that she behaved badly or that she made extraordinary demands while in Singapore. She says that even though she was suffering form the flu, she carried on, working with the choreographers and dancers even with last-minute changes beyond her control, accommodating the attending media and dazzled her fans and all who attended the awards show.
Bunty Walia of GS Entertainment, the organization that handles Aishwarya's stage show, told the The Times Of India: "Inspite of being unwell with a viral flu Aishwarya did her rehearsals as scheduled in Singapore and fulfilled all her professional commitments." The Times report also included a statement from Shirin Morani ("the one in touch with Aishwarya for her rehearsals"), saying: "She gave no stress to us at all. She came to rehearsals on the time given to her by us and even though she wanted more time to rehearse she could not because of the others rehearsals that were going on. She was very cooperative and she went out of her way to understand and accommodate all requests."
