إنّ الفلمَ تفسيرُ Vishal Bharadwaj للشاعرِ الكلاسيكيِ، عطيل. A مسرحيّة التي جُعِلتْ أربع مراتِ في هوليود لكن تُعادُ إلى الحياة للمرة الأولى في a فلم هندي سائد في a صيغة تجارية.
مثل منتجِ أفلام هوليود الأسطوري، أورسن Welles، Vishal Bharadwaj أيضاً مَسْحُورُ بالمسرحيةِ الشكسبيريةِ - إحدى أعمالِ Vishal الأجود تَبْقى تفسيرَه Macbeth Maqbool شكسبير. على نفس النمط، Omkara في الروحِ، يَبْقى صادق مع الموضوعِ المركزيِ لعطيل ويَنتهي بتَأْنيس أشخاصِ شكسبير بالفولكلورِ الضروريِ والسحرِ العرقيِ الذي مطلوبُ لa مكان قصّةِ هنديِ مُعاصرِ.
عارضْ بيئةَ الحربِ السياسيةِ في الأشياء الداخلية لأُتور براديش، يَتْلي الفلمَ هبوطَ رجلِ واحد إلى الغيرةِ الجنسيةِ بسبب حبِّه العاطفيِ لإمرأتِه والدمارِ النهائيِ ذلك الحبِّ على مذبح الهوسِ الأعمى. الحبّ أعمى لكن الغيرةَ عمياءُ حتى وذلك يُمْكِنُ أَنْ تُمزّقَ حتى الأقوى والشجعان للمحاربين في هذه حالةِ Omkara.
Omkara أَو Omi a أهدىَ زعيماً الذي يَترأّسُ a عصابة المجرمين، التي تَتضمّنُ Langda Tyagi المُحتال وKesu الدينامي بين مجموعاتِه الرئيسيةِ. تَبْدأُ القصّةُ عندما يُعيّنُ Omi Kesu ولَيسَ Langda كمُساعده الرئيسي. فخر Langda يُهانُ ويَهتَاجُ بالحسدِ يُفقّسُ a مؤامرة لتَوْريط الزوجةِ Omi الجميلة دولْي بشكل خاطئ، في a علاقة حبّ مَع Omi "مُساعد مفضّل"، Kesu.
بالمساعدةِ الغير متعمّدةِ لIndu، زوجة Langda، والمساعدة الراغبة لRaju , a زميلة الشكوى، خطة Langda تَتشكّلُ وتُؤدّي إلى المأساةِ الشنيعةِ. إستعمال التلميحاتِ والأكاذيبِ التافهةِ، يَستمرُّ Langda بتسمّم عقلِ Omi حتى يومِ واحد يَعْضُّ وOmi يَستمرُّ بتَمزيق عالمِه الآمن والمضمونِ الخاصِ.
لكن يَحْبُّ كُلّ قصص الحبِّ التي أبداً لا تَنتهي حقاً. خارج رمادِ هذا يَجيءُ أيضاً a ليّة. Omkara مُظلم Isssak أَو حبّ لدولْي، دولْي مطلق Isssak لOmi، ولاء وغيرة Langda المشوّه لOmi، ولاء Kesu's unaswerving الحيوي إلى Omi - كُلّ التقدّم يعود إلى a مأساة مُظلمة عند نهاية التي يُدركُ Omi ردّ فعل أعمالِه أخيراً لكن متأخر جداً. ؟ آخر المقالاتِ

The film is Vishal Bharadwaj's interpretation of the Bard's classic, Othello. A play that has been made four times in Hollywood but is being brought to life for the first time in a mainstream Hindi film in a commercial format.
Like the legendary Hollywood filmmaker, Orson Welles, Vishal Bharadwaj too is fascinated with Shakespearean drama - one of Vishal's finest works remains his interpretation of Shakespeare's Macbeth Maqbool. Likewise, Omkara in spirit, stays true to the central theme of Othello and ends up humanizing Shakespeare's characters with the necessary folklore and ethnic charm that is required for a contemporary Indian story setting.
Set against the milieu of political warfare in the interiors of Uttar Pradesh, the film follows one man's descent into sexual jealousy because of his passionate love for his woman and the final destruction of that love at the altar of blind obsession. Love is blind but jealousy is even blinder and that can tear apart even the strongest and bravest of warriors- in this case Omkara.
Omkara or Omi is a gifted chieftain who heads a gang of outlaws, which include the crafty Langda Tyagi and the dynamic Kesu amongst his chief cohorts. The story begins when Omi appoints Kesu and not Langda as his chief lieutenant. Langda's pride is slighted and raging with envy he hatches a plot to falsely implicate Omi's beautiful wife Dolly, in a love affair with Omi's "favourite lieutenant", Kesu.
With the unwitting aid of Indu, Langda's wife, and the willing help of Raju, a fellow grouch, Langda's plan takes shape and results in horrific tragedy. Using petty insinuations and lies, Langda keeps poisoning Omi's mind till one day it snaps and Omi goes about tearing up his own safe and secure world.
But like all love stories which never really end. Out of the ashes of this one too comes a twist. Omkara's dark Isssak or love for Dolly, Dolly's unquestioning Isssak for Omi, Langda's warped loyalty and jealousy for Omi, the vibrant Kesu's unaswerving devotion to Omi - all lead up to a dark tragedy by the end of which Omi finally realizes the backlash of his actions but is too late.?
