Indrajeet (Amitabh Bachchan) is a noble and generous soul who people revere for his self-sacrificing and gentle ways. He is the guardian of a pretty girl (Neelam). When she falls in love with a young man, Indrajeet, who has never denied her anything, puts her lover to the test and is elated when the young boy comes through with flying colours!
