Salman Khan has had full faith in Sonakshi Sinha from the day he saw her at
a fashion show two years ago. Back then he not only assured the girl that
she could be a major leading actress if she lost weight, but also put his words into action
by signing her for Dabangg when she shed those extra kilos.
Now, when the film is nearing completion Salman has gone a step further.
He has signed Sonakshi for a second film.
The decision happened a few weeks ago at the Khans’ farm house in Panvel
when Salman, Arbaaz and the Sinhas along with Sonakshi watched the rushes of Dabangg.
The proud and possessive parents were completely bowled over by the way
Sonakshi was presented in the film. Salman too was completely smitten by her
and promptly said, “I’m doing another film with you right away.”

Arbaaz Khan, who will produce the second film, confirms that Sonakshi has been signed
for a second home production. “Yes, that’s right. Sonakshi is doing another film for us.”
Though Arbaaz says it’s too early to say what kind of a project it would be,
the effort would be to do a fully contemporary urban film and move away from
the rustic setting in Dabangg
