It’s Karan over IPL for Preity
Preity Zinta, known to extend staunch support to her IPL team, will now be giving time to something else which she considers a little more important. Preity has to begin shooting for Karan Johar’s talk show Lift Kara De, for which she will give her team’s matches a miss. The show is incidentally a Yash Raj production.
Ever since Preity got busy with her IPL matches, she wasn’t taking up any projects, as she believed that she had to back up her team. But since Karan Johar asked her to report for the shoot, the actress decided to skip the match. Always a favourite at the Yash Raj Studios, Preity is still called “Zara” after her role in Veer Zara by Yash Chopra. Insiders reveal that the producer –director likes her so much that the song Tere liye from Veer Zaara has been set as the caller tune for Preity’s number.
In the meantime, the actress is on a high as she has been receiving mails from her fans wishing her luck and congratulating her on her team’s performance.
