When the hearts went Bip Bip!



It was an impressive start to Day 1 of the Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2010 considering the show started on time. Glitz glamour and exquisite jewellery came together when Gitanjali Lifestyle presented Rocky S with jewellery by Queenie for Giantti. Presenting a collection tilted ‘Bridal Extravaganza’ on the catwalk, there was a subtle play of colours which livened up the fashion ramp. The luxurious georgettes, silks and nets added to the grandeur of the garments each of them teamed with the delicate jewels. The highlights at the show remained the old rose nude full embroidered lehenga with Swarovski embellishments,
the glamourous pink nude full length chiffon kurta set, the pink nude shaded chiffon sari with a sexily crafted choli. The showstopper act was done by the super fit Bipasha Basu walking shyly taking calculated steps (she feared tripping) in a lemon-hued sari and blouse. Quite nice!
