Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will be seen together on the screen after four years in "Ek Tha Tiger" and director Kabir Khan is happy with their chemistry in the romantic thriller, saying the couple looks magical on screen.



Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will be seen together on the screen after four years in "Ek Tha Tiger" and director Kabir Khan is happy with their chemistry in the romantic thriller, saying the couple looks magical on screen.

"Salman Khan and Katrina are wonderful together, they are magical. Once you see them on screen, you will know how magical there chemistry is," Kabir Khan told IANS.

Salman-Katrina's last film as a couple was 2008 release "Yuvvraaj".

While some scenes of "Ek Tha Tiger" were shot in Istanbul, recently the team canned some major portion in Cuba. However, the last schedule of the film has been kept under wraps.

"We have shot 90 percent of the film. Rest 10 percent will be shot soon. I can't reveal where we will be shooting our last schedule though. The film is almost ready for the August Eid release," Khan said.

Item songs being the eye candy of the films, Khan too plans to have one in his movie and said: "There might be. I cant talk too much about it at the moment."

Gautham wants SRK or Salman

Vettaiyadu Vilayadu, which featured Kamal Haasan and Jyothika, is being remade in Hindi. Director Gautham Menon it is said is considering picking either Shah Rukh Khan or Salman Khan to play the lead in the remake.


Gautham is currently busy directing 'Nee Thaane En Pon Vasantham' with Jiiva and Samantha in the lead and has 'Yohan - Adhyayam Ondru' with Vijay on his plate.


The director is waiting for the release of 'Ek Deewana Tha,' the Hindi version of 'Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaya'.
Sources say the 'Vettaiyadu Vilayadu' remake can be expected to take off once 'Yohan - Adhyayam Ondru' is completed.

said to be planning to remake 'Vettai' in Hindi. The director is supposedly looking to make it big in Bollywood and feels that 'Vettai' would be his ticket. Reports say talks are on with Salman Khan to don the role Arya played in Vettai. It is also believed that Amala Paul may get a chance in the Hindi version as well.


The actors for the roles played by Sameera Reddy and Madhavan are yet to be finalised, add sources.


Vettai is slated for release this Pongal. Music for this film has been scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Arya, Amala Paul, Madhavan and Sameera Reddy play the lead roles in this film.
