"وكانت قد ننتهي من ماكياج ومشى إلى الموقع ، واستقبل شريكها النجم أكشاي كومار ومدير فرح خان عندما انهار في كومة... تماما مثل ذلك!" على مدى الساعات الثلاث المقبلة ، ساد الذعر في المكان. ويقول المصدر ، "لا أحد يعرف تماما ماذا يفعلون منذ المرافق الطبية في Malshej كانت بالكاد كافية. أكشاي بسرعة واستدعى مومباي وطبيب وتم نقله الى Malshej. بحلول الوقت الذي وصلت ، وبعدها كاترينا احست بشعور أفضل ، وإن كان ضعيفا. فرح اقترحوا إلغاء لها التصوير لليوم ، ولكن كاترينا أصرت على التصوير في النصف الثاني من اليوم من حيث الجدول الزمني ". والسبب الذي أعطاه الطبيب لها الانهيار المفاجئ كان مجهود وقلة النوم. كاترينا قد تم توجيه النصح للأعتبر سهلة. وقالت المتحدثة باسم وقوع الحادث. "كاترينا كان ت مريضه صباح يوم الاربعاء. انها قد نصح بعض الراحة. في وقت متأخر من انها قد يمر العمل الهائل الذي نؤكد المسافرين من والى مومباي. " |

’WHERE STHE MONEY, HONEY ?
Top Bollywood actresses hike up their market prices every time they hiccup! The over-imaginative PR machinery of actresses uses one weapon at regular intervals. Every time they feel that they need to get their heroine’s stock up, they brainwash journalists into believing that X actress has been paid an X amount. So you’re sipping your cuppa one morning and you almost fall off your couch, when you read that Priyanka Chopra got paid Rs 6 crore for Pyaar Impossible, or Kangna Ranaut will be paid Rs 5 crore for a film with a minister’s son, and Kareena Kapoor got paid Rs 10 crore for Golmaal 3 (later brought down to Rs 7 crore), while Katrina Kaif is offered Rs 7 crore by Abbas-Mustan for The Italian Job. When this round of blitzkrieg is done, you’ll have a final rumour on how Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is actually still in demand, is being offered a sum that totals the price of the current lot of divas. “Circulating rumours on prices is the easiest thing,” says trade consultant Amod Mehra. “The truth is often very far away from the actuality. And, the market right now is certainly not ready to pay the heroines the prices they or their kith often claim.” Mehra explains that the reason for this is simple logic. You don’t have to be Einstein to know that Bollywood heroines still don’t sell a film. Therefore, any producer who pays a heroine a price, has to pay a price for it! “Take the most recent example of the woman-eccentric film Toh Baat Pakki with Tabu. The two time National Award winner reportedly got paid Rs 1 crore for the film. However, the film didn’t even garner an initial collection. So you may rest your case right there,” says a producer. Leading trade guru and television anchor Taran Adarsh says, “Around 40-45 per cent of a film’s total budget is the remuneration of the starcast. Of that 45 per cent, the leading man takes away 25 per cent. What remains is 20 per cent in which you have to pay your heroine, the second lead actor and the rest of the character artistes. When girls tell you that they are getting ridiculous sums, they are often doing it just as an eye-wash exercise. Spreading rumours on prices helps the public perception of the leading ladies. It also helps them get better prices in the advertising market.” Taran is right. An insider confirms that with the exception of one leading lady, no heroine’s actual remuneration has actually crossed the Rs 5-crore mark. Taran adds, “After recession, there is a huge correction in the leading actors’ market prices. The only actors who actually command big money are Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Kumar and Ranbir Kapoor.” Of course, there are exceptions. In recent times, a Bollywood legend is said to have gotten Rs 11 crore for a film that flopped and another leading man got Rs 8 crore for a comic flick that is also a failure. However, in the case of these stars, the money they got is an exception rather than the rule. Likewise, as far as the girls go — Kangna doing a movie with a minister’s son may qualify her for a high price for that particular project. Yet it can hardly be termed her market price. Also, desperation to associate with Kareena has forced a film corporation to give her big money. But it is not Rs 7 crore as it is being suggested. And every heroine’s publicity machinery that spreads stories of their girls getting exorbitant prices, definitely shows a very fertile imagination, says a leading man. What is more, no one can call their bluff. Only the producer and the artiste know the actual truth. Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol and Farhan Akhtar to take on an exciting journey with three hot babes
Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar are at it again. The producer duo, who rocked Bollywood with their mega blockbuster Dil Chahta Hai in 2001, a story about three best friends — Aamir Khan, Akshaye Khanna and Saif Ali Khan — have once again brought together three hunks for their next big one. So there’s Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol and Farhan himself in this untitled film to be directed by Zoya Akhtar, which has Katrina Kaif, Kalki and another hot babe from London. A road trip to Spain is what the story is about and insiders say, one will get to see places unheard of, after all, Ritesh and Farhan themselves have gone on a road trip to Spain for the same. Ritesh, who was boarding a flight to Spain, said, “I can’t reveal much about the plot. We begin shooting this summer and the film will release in the beginning of next year.” That’s going to be a long wait for Hrithik, Farhan and Abhay’s fans and besides, there’s also the hot Katz and Hrithik pairing which has never been seen onscreen before. In all of Excel Entertainment’s films, the look of the stars in this film will also be different. Working on their looks is stylist Arjun Bhasin. “The film’s going to be shot in one schedule from May to August this year. All the stars have given bulk dates for the same. Kat-Ranbir decide to do only one more film together رنبير و كات قرروا عمل فلم واحد فقط آخر مع بعض Rather than cash in on their hotter-than-hot jodi, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif have decided to do only one more film together for now. And they have chosen Anurag Basu’s Khamoshi where Ranbir plays a deaf-and-mute character and Katrina pitches in with the powerful role of a woman who inspires, supports and eventually galvanises him into achieving his goal. While Katrina’s role as a politician in Prakash Jha’s Rajneeti is inspired by Suchitra Sen in Gulzar’s 1975 classic Aandhi, in Anurag’s film her role is similar to Shabana Azmi’s opposite a blind Naseeruddin Shah in Sai Paranjpye’s Sparsh. Anurag is confident the actress can pull off something so complex. But, beyond this film, what is heartening to note in this dogeat-dog world of Bollywood, is that Imtiaz Ali sacrificed Karina for Anurag. Apparently, the actress could only do one of two projects with Ranbir, so the two filmmakers mutually decided that Anurag’s film needs her more. In return, Anurag has given Imtiaz the first right to Ranbir’s dates. Imtiaz starts his film in May and ends in July. Anurag gave him 15 days for promotion from the day he finishes his film and will start Khamoshi in August after Imtiaz is done. Talking of Katrina, Anurag said, “She is a very sensitive actress. So far we haven’t really seen her dramatic worth. This happens with very beautiful actresses.” Aware that all eyes will be on Ranbir and Katrina after Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and Raajneeti, Anurag added, “They are magical together.
