Cannes: Film star Hrithik Roshan charmed the Cannes crowd on Friday at the unveiling of Anurag Basu's Kites even as he dropped a bombshell -- and it wasn't his Mexican co-star Barbara Mori.

Commenting on the film, Hrithik said, "Kites is an international film shot in the US, in English, with a Mexican actress. There is no Bollywood song-and-dance. There is dance, but it is realistic, not Bollywood style. In Bollywood, if an actor has to sing, there is playback, and there are dances out of nowhere -- and that's obsolete now. This is a film for a world platform."

I'm not really a great one for cleft chins, but I admit Hrithik looked like serious dude material, one of the few Indian stars with the looks, machismo, charisma, and fluency in English to make it in the West. Somehow, we can't imagine Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham, or the Three Khans succeeding thus, despite lording it over ethnic populations.

Hrithik put at ease Barbara Mori, who wore a fetching, cleavage-revealing dress with a red rose, and had a charming Spanish accent. The film features Hrithik as a chalu guy born in Las Vegas, who falls in love with Mori -- and there is unexpected betrayal.

Said Hrithik, "I am very instinctive, and when I heard the script, I just jumped on the chair saying, this is what I'd like to do. Barbara was so refreshing, I watched her as a student. I've played a superhero before, but she embarrassed me."

Mori said, "The action in the film was so much fun. More than the stunts, it was much tougher trying to understand what the director was trying to say. After he would explain to me what to do, I would say, 'Anu, can you please speak in English?', and he'd say, 'But I am speaking English'!"

لَستُ حقاً واحد عظيم للحنك المرصوعِ، لَكنِّي أُدخلُ Hrithik بَدا مثل مادّةَ رجلِ جدّيةِ، إحدى النجومِ الهنديةِ بِضْعَة بالنظراتِ , machismo، هيبة، وطلاقة في إنجليزيِ لجَعْله في الغربِ. بطريقةٍ ما، نحن لا نَستطيعُ تَخَيُّل Abhishek Bachchan، جون إبراهيم، أَو الثلاثةالخانِ نجاح هكذا، على الرغم مِنْ حُكْم سكانِ عرقيينِ.

وَضعَ Hrithik في راحة باربرة موري، التي لَبستْ لباس مدهش شقّ جَالِب مَع وردة حمراء، وكَانَ عِنْدَها يَسْحرُ لهجةً إسبانيةً. يَعْرضُ الفلمُ Hrithik ك chalu رجل ولد في لاس فيجاس، الذي يَقِعُ في حبّ موري -- وهناك خيانة غير متوقّعة.

ماقول الا الله يستر ذا الفيلم فتح ابواب مسكره :doubt: عسا سوزان البط الي يبط دماغها هي السبب ضيعت الرجال لاباركت فيها جعلها الجلطه المزمنه يومه معها وانا مطمنه على الاقل هي صنم يعني مابيكون عندي غيره منها بس تجيني حساسيه لاشفتها :hate:
