’WHERE STHE MONEY, HONEY ? Top Bollywood actresses hike up their market prices every time they hiccup! The over-imaginative PR machinery of actresses uses one weapon at regular intervals. Every time they feel that they need to get their heroine’s stock up, they brainwash journalists into believing that X actress has been paid an X amount. So you’re sipping your cuppa one morning and you almost fall off your couch, when you read that Priyanka Chopra got paid Rs 6 crore for Pyaar Impossible, or Kangna Ranaut will be paid Rs 5 crore for a film with a minister’s son, and Kareena Kapoor got paid Rs 10 crore for Golmaal 3 (later brought down to Rs 7 crore), while Katrina Kaif is offered Rs 7 crore by Abbas-Mustan for The Italian Job. When this round of blitzkrieg is done, you’ll have a final rumour on how Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is actually still in demand, is being offered a sum that totals the price of the current lot of divas. “Circulating rumours on prices is the easiest thing,” says trade consultant Amod Mehra. “The truth is often very far away from the actuality. And, the market right now is certainly not ready to pay the heroines the prices they or their kith often claim.” Mehra explains that the reason for this is simple logic. You don’t have to be Einstein to know that Bollywood heroines still don’t sell a film. Therefore, any producer who pays a heroine a price, has to pay a price for it! “Take the most recent example of the woman-eccentric film Toh Baat Pakki with Tabu. The two time National Award winner reportedly got paid Rs 1 crore for the film. However, the film didn’t even garner an initial collection. So you may rest your case right there,” says a producer. Leading trade guru and television anchor Taran Adarsh says, “Around 40-45 per cent of a film’s total budget is the remuneration of the starcast. Of that 45 per cent, the leading man takes away 25 per cent. What remains is 20 per cent in which you have to pay your heroine, the second lead actor and the rest of the character artistes. When girls tell you that they are getting ridiculous sums, they are often doing it just as an eye-wash exercise. Spreading rumours on prices helps the public perception of the leading ladies. It also helps them get better prices in the advertising market.” Taran is right. An insider confirms that with the exception of one leading lady, no heroine’s actual remuneration has actually crossed the Rs 5-crore mark. Taran adds, “After recession, there is a huge correction in the leading actors’ market prices. The only actors who actually command big money are Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Kumar and Ranbir Kapoor.” Of course, there are exceptions. In recent times, a Bollywood legend is said to have gotten Rs 11 crore for a film that flopped and another leading man got Rs 8 crore for a comic flick that is also a failure. However, in the case of these stars, the money they got is an exception rather than the rule. Likewise, as far as the girls go — Kangna doing a movie with a minister’s son may qualify her for a high price for that particular project. Yet it can hardly be termed her market price. Also, desperation to associate with Kareena has forced a film corporation to give her big money. But it is not Rs 7 crore as it is being suggested. And every heroine’s publicity machinery that spreads stories of their girls getting exorbitant prices, definitely shows a very fertile imagination, says a leading man. What is more, no one can call their bluff. Only the producer and the artiste know the actual truth. في العام الماضي كانت الأخيرة في هوليوود بـفيلمها Pink Panther. ولكن هذا العام ايشواريا راي قد اصطفة مع أربعة أفلام من أجل تـصوير مشروعين الأول هـو Ravana و Endhiran وهناك عملان أخران وهما Action Replay و Guzaarish ، الأفلام جماعيا كلفت حوالي أكثر من 300 مليار روبية (3 مليارات روبية). بينما في فيلم Endhiran لديها لغتين من بطولة نجمة Rajnikanth و سيكون ميزانيته حوالي 125 مليار روبية (1.25 مليار روبية (حوالي Rs.45 الكرور (Rs.450 مليون دولار) وسيكون الفيلم لماني راتنام الذي طال انتظارها Ravana ، والتي سيكون أفراج عنه في حزيران / يونيو. الفيلم لفيبول شاه Action Replay قد كلفت تكاليفه حول Rs.60 الكرور (Rs.600 مليون دولار) وإذا كانت التقارير تعتقد أن UTV هو القصف الى روبية 80 مليار روبية (800 مليون روبية) لسانجاي ليلا بهنسالي في الفيلم `Guzaarish `من بطولة ايشواريا حاليا يتم تصوير عليه مع هريثيك روشان في مومباي. ايشواريا هي الأن مشغولة مع كل هاته الافلام ففي الماضي كانت لها فيلم واحد فقط لمدة سنة ، بل وعانت من مشاكل صحية فلذالك قررت عدم تمثيل حينها. الفيلم Ravana هي نسخة الهندية والتي تضم ايضا ابهيشيك باتشان ، الممثلة أعطت بعض الطلقات الأكثر صعوبة في الفيلم دون أن يشكو أحد ايشواريا قالت أن فيلمها القادم Ravana هو الأصعب وسيكون في البطولة فيكرام (نجم جنوب) يلعب دور رام رافانا في vesrion التاميل. أما ايشواريا تلعب دور سيتا في كل من الإصدارات الهندية والتاميلية. ماني راتنام المخرج الفيلم فقد وجد صعوبة في الأماكن الأكثر خطرا. فمع ايشواريا أعطى تـصوير نفسه مرتين للنسختين سواء كان ذلك في المطر أو على الجبال أوالغابات ، الخ ، " الناس يقولون أن فيكرام سيكون له دوره في فيلم صعب ، ولكن الممثل نفسه يشعر بأن ايشواريا هي الأكثر صعوبة في الفيلم اثناء تصويره Ravana في ادغال وولاية كيرالا ، كامل افراد الطاقم كانت لهم تجربة مخيفة جداا بصرف النظر عن Ravana، ايشواريا سيكون لها دور في مشروع آخر جنوبي Endhiran و كان جيدا سريا حتى الآن ، ولكن بعض الصور مسربة من الفيلم سيتم تـصوير فقد تبين لها في تجسد الآلهة المختلفة. أما الفيلم أخر وهو Action Replay، من بطولة أكشاي كومار قصته تحكي بين السفر في عام 1950 وقصة يقوم على مسمى 1994 الغوجاراتية تلعب الهندي. ولقد أكد المخرج الكثير من مرات الممثلين أن يؤديو أدوارهم بأتقان واضاف أكشاي له مصمم خاص وهو شابينا خان أما ايشواريا لها المصمم خاص وهو مانيش مالهوترا من الصعب إعطاء للفيلم Action Replay``نظرة فريدة من نوعها. وإذا كان هذا هو نظرة تسرب فنحن نفقد اكبر جامعة في الجنوب محيط الهادئ بينما الفيلم 'Guzaarish' ، وسوف تلعب الممثلة دور ممرضة المتزوجة التي يقع في حب لمريض مصاب بشلل نصفي وهو هريثيك على الرغم من كل دور يختلف عن الآخرين ، إلا أنه يبقى من واحدة من هذه الافلام ذهاب الى شباك التذاكر. |

في عالم glitz و glamour، سباق الفئران مستمر، سواء تقبله النجوم أم لا. الفائز الأخير في هذا السباق يبدو بأنها ايشواريا راي باشان. ايشو قد حصلت على عرض ضخم يقدر ب 10 كرور من أجل دور في فيلم. السجل الحالي للممثلة الاعلى أجرا كان من نصيب كارينا كابور، التي حصلت على 7 كرور من أجل الجزء الثالث من سلسلة Golmaal. ايشو لم تقبل بعد بهذا العرض، لكن سيكون من الصعب رفض انجازين في آن واحد، أم لا ؟؟؟ أتساءل ماذا سيكون قرار ايشو ؟؟؟ |
