The actress, who is making a comeback on the big screen after a gap of one year, has been on a whirlwind tour along with costar Shahid Kapur promoting their film in Toronto, London, Mumbai and Delhi. However Rani's friendship with Salman seems to be above all as the actress has asked her loyal fans to go ahead and watch Wanted. "I would request all my fans to please go and see Wanted. Salman is such a dear friend and we both are excited about each other's film and eager to watch them soon," Rani said on the sidelines of her film's promotional event at Big Cinema's Odeon. While Rani-Shahid starrer Dil Bole Hadippa is a out-an-out 'Bollywood masala' film, Salman's Wanted, which also marks the direction debut of ace choreographer Prabhudeva is an action flick. The actress said that she is sure that their is definite audience for both the films and hopefully they will be well received by the viewers. "It is a festive season when people are looking forward to go out with family and have some fun. I am sure both of our films will have their loyal audience. Nayan watches Wanted with Prabhu Deva!

The producer of the film Boney Kapoor was very particular not to hold any previews or a premiere of the film. Prabhu Deva could have easily arranged a special screening for her in one of the preview theatres. But Nayan was very particular to see the film at a theatre and gauge the audience’s reaction. Prabhu arranged tickets at the Cinemax multiplex in Bandra, for the first day first show. As Wanted, a remake of Vijay-Asin Pokkiri unfolded the audiences including Nayan got hooked to the film which is pure mass masala entertainer. Nayan enjoyed every moment of the film as Salman Khan is her favourite Bollywood actor. The film as noted Bollywood critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote- “Wanted rides on Salman Khan's star power. He may not be the best actor in town, but in a film like this, in a role that seems like an extension of his personality, you can't think of anyone else enacting this role with flourish”. No, we are talking about the clash of their films at the box-office. The off screen rivals were made to eat into each other’s collections by releasing their films on the same day. Buzz up! Salman’s film Wanted, a remake of Telugu film Pokiri, was released last Friday. This film produced by Boney Kapoor and directed by Prabhu Deva features Ayesha Takia Azmi in the female lead role. Shahid’s film Dil Bole Hadippa, with Rani Mukherjee as his heroine, was also released on the same day. It’s produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Anurag Singh. Interestingly, both the films received good reviews. However, they failed to make a good opening in spite of the hype and hoopla. Both the films will become the most-disappointing films of the year if they fail to pull in the crowd with the good word of mouth. Muslim audience could save them, as the Ramzan season has ended. Wanted and Dil Bole Hadippa belong to different genres but the producers should have avoided the clash. No doubt it has affected the collections at the box-office.
