Shahid 'ألهمَ' بضحيّةِ سوءِ الإستخدام

Mumbai: الممثلون يَعْرفونَ لسَحْب الإلهامِ لأشخاصِهم مِنْ الأغربِ للظروفِ. في حالة Shahid Kapoor، لشخصِه في Kaminey، جاءَ مِنْ لقاء عابر مَع ضحيّة سوءِ الإستخدام.

بشكل مثير للأنتباه أكثر، قابلَ هذا الرجلِ (الذي يُفضّلُ كِتمان سِرِّ هويتِه) في تَلَعْثُم نادي -- مجموعة صغيرة مِنْ الناسِ في Bandra الذي تَجتمعُ بإنتظام كمجموعة دعم إلى معاناة Mumbaiites مِنْ عيوبِ الخطابِ.

"كبار السن في المدرسةِ، يوم واحد تَحرّشَ به. هو ضُرِبَ وإنتهكَ بشكل سيئ جداً. تَركتْ الحادثةُ مثل هذه الندبةِ العميقةِ في رأيي بِأَنَّ هذا الرجلِ طوّرَ عيب خطابِ الذي كَانَ أَنْ يَبْقى مَعه لبقية حياته، "يُعيدُ حساب Shahid.

"أنا بُاغتُّ متى الرجلَ كَانَ يَرْوي الحادثةَ لي. بعد سمع هذا، عَرفتُ بأنّه الواحد الذي أردتُ مُحَاكاة، "يَقُولُ Shahid، الذي يَلْعبُ رجل مَع عيب خطابِ في الفلمِ. "أخبرتُه الذي نَويتُ أَنْ وهو يَبْدو موافقةً طالما هي ما كَانتْ كاريكاتير."

المُتَحَرّك جداً كَانَ Shahid بقصّةِ هذا الرجلِ الذي تَكلّمَ مع Vishal Bhardwaj حول دَمْج قصّةِ حياتِه في الفلمِ.

"لَيسَ فقط قرّرَ كِتابَة المخطوطةِ على خطوطِ شخصِ هذا الرجلِ، وافقَ على وَضْع قصّةِ حياتِه أيضاً في الفلمِ. هناك مشهد حيث أنَّ شخصي Guddu يُعيدُ حساب الحادثةَ إلى Priyanka (Chopra) لتَوضيح كَمْ حَصلتُ على عيبِ الخطابَ. ذلك المشهدِ قصّةُ حياةَ الرجلِ وهو مُؤَثِّرُ جداً -- هو مشهدُي الأفضلُ في الفلمِ، "يُضيفُ.

Shahid 'inspired' by abuse victim

Mumbai: Actors are known to draw inspiration for their characters from the strangest of circumstances. In the case of Shahid Kapoor, for his character in Kaminey, it came from a chance encounter with a victim of abuse.
More interestingly, he met this guy (who prefers to keep his identity secret) at a Stammering Club -- a small group of people in Bandra who meet regularly as a support group to Mumbaiites suffering from speech defects.
"His seniors in school one day accosted him. He was beaten up and abused very badly. The incident left such a deep scar in my mind that this guy developed a speech defect which was to remain with him for the rest of his life," recounts Shahid.
"I was startled when the guy was narrating the incident to me. After hearing this, I knew that he is the one that I wanted to emulate," says Shahid, who plays a guy with a speech defect in the film. "I told him what I intended to do and he seemed okay so long as it was not a caricature."
So moved was Shahid by this man's story that he spoke to Vishal Bhardwaj about incorporating his life story in the film.
"Not only did he decide to write the script on the lines of this guy's character, he also agreed to put his life story in the film. There's a scene where my character Guddu is recounting the incident to Priyanka (Chopra) to explain how I got the speech defect. That scene is the life story of the guy and it's so touching -- it is my best scene in the movie," he adds.
