Priyanka Chopra, who plays an autistic girl in Barfi, says she is game for such tough roles. On being asked how she chooses such tough roles one after the other, Priyanka said: "Whichever role is the toughest, bring it to me, I'll do it." She has played challenging roles Her forthcoming Barfi! spreads the message of being happy in any state, just the way the lead character, essayed by Ranbir Kapoor, does despite being deaf and mute. "Ranbir's character's philosophy is this! When he enters our lives, he touches us all and teaches us that you don't need much to be happy, just a big heart," she added. Actor Priyanka Chopra who has been seen kicking some serious butt in films like Drona and Don admits her love for hardcore action. She had earlier even said, “Unfortunately there’s not much scope for action for girls here, it’s the male domain.” However, it looks like the actor is keen to make the most of every opportunity she gets to show off her stunts. Recently when the actor was to make an entry at a Star Plus awards event, she did it with full energy. According to a source, the actor came in riding on a bike, that was suspended high on wires. “Complementing her action avatar with a gun, she was reminiscent of Angelina Jolie in Tomb Raider, and seemed at absolute ease pulling off the risky stunt,” says a unit member. Interestingly, there have been reports earlier of how the actor is notcomfortable with heights, though the actor herself has never admitted to having any fear. “In any case, it was quite risky to be suspended on a bike at that height even though all safety precautions like harness and wiring had been taken care of. It takes courage to pull off something like that,” adds an insider, talking about Priyanka ’s stunt. |
