The former world beauty and internationally famed actress Aishwarya Rai has hunted several stars, and Vivek Oberoi is her third victim. Yes, the first victim was Salman Khan who proved a hit pair with Aish in their 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam'. But they fell out soon and Salman quarreled with Shah Rukh over Aish during a shoot. Shah Rukh turned angry and replaced Aish with another actress. However, Aish's performance with Shah Rukh in 'Devdas' proved a hit. Thus, Aish thought of improving her equation with SRK, and announced that she would never do a film with Salman.
Since SRK didn't pay much heed to her announcement against Salman, Aish took fancy for Vivek Oberoi. The latter was flattered too, and showered his love towards her. The news in the media about their relationship continued for some time without any contradiction by Aish, presumably she thought that her film 'Kyon Ho Gaya Naa' with Vivek might prove a hit. Since the Aish-Vivek movie flopped, Aish changed her attitude towards him. This has shocked Vivek beyond words, and he has turned a frustrated lover though he has occupied himself now with the relief work for the victims of tsunami, and adopted a village in the affected area of the south.

Aamir Khan started the trend. And today you have almost every actor exercising restraint, choosing to do one or two films a year. The idea is to pick and choose quality projects and give your best to it. “It may work, it may not, but at least you've had the satisfaction of doing films you believe in,” Aamir once told me.
Besides Aamir, SRK and Hrithik, Fardeen Khan is now endorsing a similar viewpoint. “I've henceforth decided to do only two films at a time,” he informs me. What brought about this sudden change? “It's pointless grabbing projects indiscriminately. It doesn't bring out the best in you. By doing limited, quality films, you concentrate better and that automatically increases your career-span,” he states.
Meanwhile, it's heard that Fardeen is keen on starting a biggie for his home-production. Let's await the official announcement from F.K. Sr.!

After a brief hiatus, Ramesh [SHOLAY] Sippy is all geared to bounce back with not one but four projects. The first film, directed by Vikram Bhatt and starring three newcomers, is being shot non-stop since January.
The second project, to be directed by Milan [KACHCHE DHAAGE, DEEWAAR] Luthria, is expected to star Nana Patekar and John Abraham in pivotal roles. The above-mentioned two films are expected to release before the year 2005 comes to a close.
Sippy's son Rohan will direct the third film, which will star Sanjay Dutt and Abhishek Bachchan together. “We are currently working out the dates,” Sippy Sr. informs me. The leading lady will also be finalized shortly.
Of course, Sippy Sr., the maker of SEETA AUR GEETA, SHOLAY and SAAGAR, will also direct a film in due course. “I am still working on the script,” he says. Grapevine has it that the Big B will essay a pivotal role. “I can't reveal much till I've completed the script,” he smiles.
What prompted the veteran to bounce back with four films? “Times have changed. Earlier, we used to make one film in four years. You can't afford to follow the system anymore,” he divulges. Here's wishing the veteran the very best!
