برييتي كلوز

أبهيشيك باتشان بسهولة ولد الأعزب الأكثر منشودًا في تينسيلفيل .اقترحت أمّ راني مكيرجي كريشنا إلى صديق مشترك أن أبهيشيك و راني سيعملان زوجًا جيّدًا علانية . ثمّ نحن سمعنا أنّ شيلبا شيتي كانت تصبح مغرمًا به . بعد ذلك, أميشا باتل تبعه من المغرب إلى بومباي بقلبها على كمّها .

بيباشا باسو, لارا دتا, إشا ديول و سيلينا جيتلي, جميعًا من الّذي يتألّق في فلم بوني كابور "ممنوع دخول", كان لديه انفجار عندما كانوا في موريشيوس لأسبوعان جدولاً مصوّرًا طويلاً .

بيباشا, نحن أُخْبِرْنَا, كان المحفّز في أخذ البنات الأخريات لحلّ اختلافاتهم و أصدقاء . مساء بعد مساء, الأربعة بطلات سيمشين من حجرات فندقهم و الخمر و يتعشّين معًا . كانت هذه طريقتهم لإبقاء الرّجال في مأزق .

لكنهم لم يحسبوا حساب سالو أبنا . يسمع واحد أنه حاول الكون معتادًا على سيلينا جيتلي . لكنّ كان يجب على أن يتراجع عندما باسو المدام و معًا وبّخه .

الظّهر في بومباي, سيلينا تُرِكَتْ في وحدة إلى العنبر خارج مكالمات تليفونيّة السّيّد خان المستمرّة . تتش, تتش .



الكلب الذّهب !

كانت راني مكيرجي مذعورًا حديثًا لأنّ كلبها المفضّل انتقل . بكت راني متواصلة لمدّة يومين بالكامل و مكيرجيس الكبير أصبح بشكل خطير قلق عن كيف تواسي بيتي الحبيب .

بخاصّة منذ راني حتّى ألغت جدول ياش شوبرا في اليوم الأوّل . قام أديتيا شوبرا متضايق براني زيارة و أقنعها أن تجيء إلى التصوير لأنّ كانت هناك تباديل كثيرة جدًّا و اتّحادات لولي الاهتمام من إذا هي لم . اتّفقت راني المحترفة أخيرًا بحزن و تشوبراس رفع تنهيدة الرّاحة الكبيرة واحدة .



هوس الخان

برييانكا شوبرا تضْرَب إلى حدّ ما من قبل شاه رخ خان . لكلّ الرّجال البارزين الذين قد قابلتهم, تقول, شاروخ هو الأكثر تهذّبًا في إم الكلّ . سبب : لا يمكن أن تتغلّب على الطّريقة الّتي بها عاملها عندما ذهبت لعرض إلى سنغافورة معه منذ بعض الأشهر . أبدى اهتمام شخصيّ بجعلني و كلّ المؤدّين الآخرين مرتاحين, تتذكّر بريناكا . سيتأكّد أننا انضممنا إليه للعشاء يوميًّا . و ينسى التّوقّف كرسيّ لي, عمل ذلك حتّى لأمّي . لا تحصل لمقابلة كثير هذه النّاس جدًّا, تتدفّق .

نجم آخر على قائمة برييانكا الأكثر إعجاب هي ريخا . قد قام كلا ريخا و شاه رخ من إخفاء الهويّة إلى النّجوميّة بدون أيّ عرّابين دعموهم, تعلّق, و قصص نجاحهم تلهمني أن أستمرّ .”

جون إبراهام مسرور باقتنائه الأخير - موتوسيكل سوزوكي هيابسا أفضل الذي عليه يفتح سوستة عبر الطّريق السّريع السّريع الغربيّ . قد حتّى استخدم في الحقيقة, هذه الدّرّاجة لبعض الصّور الخاصّة في فيلم ياشراج الذي فيه يتقاسم البطولة مع عدي شوبرا و أبهيشيك باتشان .

يبقى حبّ جون الجديد مركون في حقيبة مغلّفة في مجمع بيباشا باسو الصّديقة وسط الحراسة الأمنيّة المشدّدة . نسمع أنّه كانت بيبس الذي هو موهوب الدراجة . جون, تباعًا, قد موهوب سيّدته تحبّ روتينًا أحدث كلّفه كمّيّةً كبيرةً . و بيبس تهمس, لديّ أفضل صديق في العالم الواسع بالكامل !”

يتّضح زايد خان الكون الشيء المتوحّش التّالي على كتلة الفيلم . يجرّ الانتباه إمّا بالرّقص على السّفرة, مثلما فعل في لكمة عيد ميلاد شاه رخ خان نوفمبر الماضي أو الرّقص على كراسيّ البار في الملاهي اللّيليّة . على نزهة حديثة, زايد ذهب مستوى رفيع خطوة واحد و دخل مشاجرة مع بعض الماجنين الآخرين الذين كانوا يشعرون مشاكل مع الحرّاس . ادخل زايد أبنا الذي قرّر المحاربة نيابة عن أصدقاءه الأوفياء .

خمّن من زايد كان يحمي ؟ الحرّاس في اللّغز الذي هو أفضل أصدقاءه .

يرث زايد جارام خون ه من سانجاي خان الأبٍ الذي يُقَال أن قد تصرّف قاسي مع ملّاك مطعم المطر الذي يتقاسم سور مشترك مع منزله . أخبرهم أن إذا لم ينهوا التّصرّفات بساعة لائقة, سيغلق المكان طبقًا للتّقارير . يمزح سانجاي خان الأمل . الخسّ الملعقيّ إذا نفّذ تهديده و أغلق المطر, أين سوف حزب زايد البيتشارا ؟ نعم, زايد زبون مطر !

نامراتا شيرودكار, أفضل صديقة لرافينا تاندون-ثاداني, سيسير على خطوات راف و تتزوّج موظّف ماهيش صديق ممثّلها هذا الشّهر . يمكن أن جيّدًا يكون المكان للعرس نيوزيلندا حيث ينطلق ماهيش . العرس قد يُتَابَع بالحفلات لأشخاص هامّين للصناعة في حيدر آباد و بومباي . أو يمكن أن يكون حدث هادئ مع ضيوف مختارين قليلين في حيدر آباد نفسه متبوعة بحفلة وفيرة في نفس المدينة .

كانت الخطط مبدئيّةً عندما انطبعنا و نامراتا لا يناقشهم مع الصّحافة, أو أي شخص بمعنى أصحّ .

هنا يتمنّى لنامراتا حياة نعيم متزوّجة محض .

أكشاي كمار في أعمال الجمال الآن - قد افتتح مركز تجميل في الشّراكة مع بيري باتل مصفّف شعر مشهوره . الاحتفال كان تمامًا علاقة عائلة مع ناني أكشاي يقصّ الشّريط, أمّه تبتسم بفخر في زوجتها الابن طرفة و نقرة, في سّاري قطن, شعرها مبتلّ و مفكوك, حمل أرااف الحفيد في أذرعها .

بدت الطّرفة رائعةً في الجينز, البلوزة القصيرة و رشّاش ماس في كلّ مكان . نظرا و أكشاي كثير من على علاقة حبّ واحد يُغْرَى أن يصدم تلك الإشاعات التي تربط أكي ببطلاته .

على فكرة, أخت أكشاي ألكا ستتولّى الأحداث اليوميّة في الصّالون . فقط سيسقط بهيييا لحلاقته الطّريقة الّتي بها يعمل العملاء الآخرون .



حفل ساهر للصحراء

كان أهمّ العرس أميتاب و رقص أبهيشيك باتشان بعيدًا في الباراات مع أمار سينج و اللّورد سوراج بول, كارينا كابور يلبس خلق مانيش مالهوترا نافس هؤلاء لباهس ساهارا و أيشواريا راي و فيفيك أوبيروي يعملانه لعشاء خاصّ جدًّا المستضاف من قبل عائلة الصّحراء للورد سوراج بول, جودريجس, أمبانيس و باتشتشانز .



بالتّوقيت الشّرقيّ تم !

طار سيسيل أنتوني و مانيشا كويرالا إلى فوكيت للرّنين في عيد الحبّ ثمّ تقصّاه بإجازة لمدّة 10 أيّام في تايلاند . قبل التّرك لتايلاند, مانيشا شارد الذّهن بكت,

فيفيك أوبيروي هو ساحر رائع . و كانت جاذبيّته في الدّليل الكامل عندما كان يغلّف برعم اليوم الماضي لماستي إندرا كمار . كان فيفيك و لارا دتا شريكه في بطولة يدرسان هذه الأغنية المبتلّة المبتلّة و منذ كان لارا في بدلة سباحة, أرادت الصّحافة خارج المجموعة عندما كانت الطّلقة معلّبةً .

لذا فيفيك زيّن بلعب المضيف إلى الصّحافة في الوسط يأخذ . عندما سُئِلَ عن جدوله التّالي لكسنا سبهاش غاي, حيث هو سيكون في صحبة ممثّلة بريطانيّة و إيشا شيرواني, صبيّنا لفّ من كلّ جانب و قال, لماذا يتكلّم عن جدولي التّالي ؟ كل شيء أعرف ذلك الآن أنا في صحبة هذا الجمال المظلم جدًّا, لارا دتا و أنا سعيد تمامًا .”

كان الطّعام هيندستاني و الأرواح تراوحت من بهاانج إلى الخمر, ماريس الملطّخ بالدّماء إلى البيرة .

رقص الضّيوف بالتّلذّذ إلى أعداد هولي باتشان و فرقة فيجو شاه بدأت الألحان في الصّوت الأقصى للطّلبات الخاصّة .

أهمّ الحدث : أمار سينج و شاه رخ خان اللذان يتصالحان بعد محادثتهم الحادّة السّيّئة السّمعة الآن في دبي . الذي/التي جعل باتشتشانز سعيد جدًّا . برغم كلّ شيء, جياجي مغرم جدًّا بإس آر كيه و أميتاب يعتبر أمار سينج أخه الأصغر .

When some media guys wanted Saif Ali Khan to give the luscious Katrina Kaif a peck for a photograph, he refused. He didn’t want to mess with Salman Khan’s lady, he said. In fact, we hear Saif was jittery just shooting with Katrina because even as they were posing for the camera, Katrina got a dozen phone calls. Saif, who figured out who was at the other end, got the heebie-jeebies and decided to keep his mouth shut for more reasons than one.



Boney's Angels

Bipasha Basu, Lara Dutta, Esha Deol and Celina Jaitley, all of who star in Boney Kapoor’s No Entry, had a blast when they were in Mauritius for a fortnight-long shooting schedule.

Bipasha, we’re told, was the catalyst in getting the other girls to resolve their differences and be friends. Evening after evening, the four leading ladies would step out of their hotel rooms and wine and dine together. This was their way of keeping the men at bay.

But they hadn’t reckoned with apna Sallu. One hears he tried getting familiar with Celina Jaitley. But had to back off when Ms Basu and Co gave him a piece of their minds.

Back in Mumbai, Celina was left all alone to ward off Mr Khan’s incessant phone calls. Tch, tch.



Dog gone!

Rani Mukerji was in a blue funk recently because her pet dog passed away. Rani cried non-stop for two whole days and the senior Mukerjis got seriously worried about how to console their darling beti.

Especially since Rani even cancelled a Yash Chopra schedule on the first day. A frazzled Aditya Chopra paid Rani a visit and convinced her to come to the shoot because there were too many permutations and combinations to take care of if she didn’t. The professional Rani finally agreed tearfully and the Chopras heaved one huge sigh of relief.



Khan Mania

Priyanka Chopra is quite smitten by Shah Rukh Khan. Of all the leading men she has met, she says, SRK is the most gentlemanly of ’em all. Reason: she can’t get over the way he treated her when she went for a show to Singapore with him some months ago. “He took a personal interest in making me and all the other performers comfortable,” she recalls. “He’d make sure we joined him for dinner every day. And forget pulling up a chair for me, he did that even for my mother. You don’t get to meet too many such people,” she gushes.

Another star on Priyanka’s Most Admired list is Rekha. “Both Rekha and Shah Rukh have risen from anonymity to superstardom without any godfathers backing them,” she remarks, “and their success stories inspire me to keep going.”



Night Rider

John Abraham is thrilled to bits with his latest acquisition—a top-of-the-line Suzuki Hayabusa motorcycle on which he zips across the Western Express Highway. In fact, he’s even used this bike for some special shots in a Yashraj film in which he co-stars with Uday Chopra and Abhishek Bachchan.

John’s new love stays parked in a vacuum-packed bag in girlfriend Bipasha Basu’s compound amidst tight security. We hear it was Bips who gifted him the bike. John, in turn, has gifted his lady love a state-of-the-art treadmill that cost him a whopping amount. And Bips coos, “I have the best boyfriend in the whole wide world!”



Baap re baap"

Zayed Khan is turning out to be the next wild thing on the film block. He’s either drawing attention by dancing on the dining table, like he did at Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday bash last November or dancing on bar stools at nightclubs. On one recent outing, Zayed went one step ‘higher’ and got into a brawl with some other revelers who were having problems with the bouncers. Enter apna Zayed who decided to fight on behalf of his good friends.

Guess who Zayed was protecting? The bouncers at Enigma, who are his best buddies.

Zayed inherits his garam khoon from papa Sanjay Khan, who’s said to have acted tough with the owners of the Rain restaurant which shares a common wall with his bungalow. He reportedly told them that if they didn’t wind up proceedings by a decent hour, he would get the place shut down. Hope Sanjay Khan is joking. ’Cos if he carries out his threat and shuts down Rain, where will bechara Zayed party? Yeah, Zayed is a Rain regular!



A Summer Wedding

Namrata Shirodkar, Raveena Tandon-Thadani’s best friend, will follow in Rav’s footsteps and marry her actor-boyfriend Mahesh Babu this month. The venue for the wedding could well be New Zealand where Mahesh is shooting. The wedding may be followed by receptions for industry bigwigs in Hyderabad and Mumbai. Or it could be a quiet affair with a few select guests in Hyderabad itself followed by a lavish reception in the same city.

The plans were tentative when we went to press and Namrata is not discussing them with the press, or anyone for that matter.

Here’s wishing Namrata a life of pure wedded bliss.

Beautiful People

Akshay Kumar’s in the beauty business now—he’s opened a beauty salon in partnership with his celebrity hair-stylist Perry Patel. The ceremony was strictly a family affair with Akshay’s nani cutting the ribbon, his mother beaming proudly at her daughter-in-law Twinkle, and Dimple, in a cotton sari, her hair wet and loose, carrying grandson Araav in her arms.

Twinkle looked stunning in jeans, a short blouse and a spray of diamonds all over. She and Akshay looked so much in love one is tempted to knock down those rumours linking Akki to his leading ladies.

Incidentally, Akshay’s sister Alka will handle the day-to-day affairs at the salon. Bhaiyya will just drop by for his hair-cut the way other clients do.

Even the most ostentatious of filmwallahs were left gaping at the sheer size and scale of the Sahara weddings in Lucknow on February 10 and February 14, 2004. Sahara Shri Subrata Roy’s two sons Sushanto and Seemanto got married in unprecedented style with practically every industry bigwig in attendance.

One specially chartered plane from Mumbai carried the likes of Yash Chopra, Rakesh Roshan, Sunny Deol, Dimple Kapadia, Urmila Matondkar and Raveena Tandon to the shaadi and back. Another plane-load included Jaya and Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Vivek Oberoi and sisters Shilpa and Shamita Shetty.

The highlight of the wedding was Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan dancing away in the baraat with Amar Singh and Lord Swraj Paul, Kareena Kapoor wearing a Manish Malhotra creation that rivalled those of the two Sahara bahus, and Aishwarya Rai and Vivek Oberoi making it to a very exclusive dinner hosted by the Sahara family for Lord Swraj Paul, the Godrejs, the Ambanis and the Bachchans.



Et Tum!

Cecile Anthony and Manisha Koirala flew to Phuket to ring in Valentine’s Day and then followed it up with a 10-day vacation in Thailand. Before leaving for Thailand, a distraught Manisha cried,

“Oh God why are some guys trying to make it seem like Tum is a sex film? It’s nothing of that sort. I wish people would stop associating me with sleazy films. I don’t want a repeat of the Ek Chhotisi Love Story controversy.’’

Of course Tum came and crashed. And no one bothered with its content. One is sure before Manya signs on another controversial film, she’ll think a hundred times over. Twice bitten, 100 times shy.

Producer Pahlaj Nihalani’s elder beta and Kareena Kapoor’s buddy Vicky is an ace polo player.

He won the Jubilee Polo cup at the Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur sometime ago and was actually gifted a momento from Mrs. Anil Thadani, wife of the high-flying car-racing financier from Singapore. Maharaja Gaj Singh was also a part of the entire eventwhich had political heavyweights like Finance Minister Jaswant Singh gracing it. Way to go Vicky.

It was nostalgia time for Amitabh Bachchan when he released Unki Pati, Apni Thati (His Letters, My Wealth), a compilation of his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s letters to him.

Mr.Samir Jain, Vice Chairman of Bennett Coleman & Company Limited met Mr Kamalkant Budhkar at Haridwar. And he happened to read the letters penned by Shri .Harivanshrai Bachchan to Mr Budhkar, which left an indelible mark on him. And therefore he initiated the project of having this book printed. The first copy of the book was presented to film-maker Yash Chopra. And Mr Bachchan got nostalgic while recalling his babuji’s letters to him had also made an immense contribution in shaping his own life.



Masti aur Dhoom

Vivek Oberoi is quite a charmer. And his charm was in full evidence when he was wrapping up the last day’s shoot of Indra Kumar’s Masti. Vivek and his co-star Lara Dutta were doing this wet, wet song and since Lara was in a swimming costume, she wanted the press off the set when the shot was canned.

So Vivek made up by playing host to the press in between takes. When asked about his next schedule for Subhash Ghai’s Ksna, where he would be in the company of a British actress and Isha Sherwani, our lad turned around and said, “Why talk about my next schedule? All I know is that right now I’m in the company of this very dusky beauty, Lara Dutta, and I’m quite happy.”

Lara blushed a beautiful pink. Must say Mr Oberoi has it down pat when it comes to pleasing the fairer sex.



Shaadi Ke Laddoo

So you know Raveena Tandon married Anil Thadani on February 22 at Udaipur’s Shiv-niwas Palace. You also know that Govinda danced all night long and was joined by Raveena’s bhidus Jackie Shroff and Ravi Shastri.

What you don’t know though is that Raveena received each and every guest personally when they set foot in Udaipur. She chose far-away Udaipur as the location for her wedding because she had always dreamt of getting married like a princess.

Also, she wanted the shaadi to be a strictly private affair with only family and close friends. “Neither Anil nor I are the Page 3 sort,” she said. But the media made it an extravagant affair by giving it top coverage.

“I’m grateful to the media,” said Raveena after the event. “I guess it was their way of showing they cared about me. I’m touched.”

Raveena invited very, very few people from the industry. Karan Johar, a good friend of Anil Thadani, led the baraatis. There was designer Anna Singh too. From the political side, there was Amar Singh.

Raveeena confesses, “I was grinning so much through all the ceremonies, my friends teased me and told me I could try to be a little more bashful.” Raveena didn’t even shed the customary tears at her bidaai. In fact no bidaai songs were even played. Instead they played bhangra tunes to match the robust and joyous mood. Anil took her away in a boat, and Raveena says it was the most memorable moment of her life. “Anil is my real soulmate,” she told us.

For their honeymoon the couple took a luxury cruise to the Far East. Here’s wishing Raveena and Anil continued bliss in their married life.



Holieer Than Thou

March 7: Venue: Prateeksha, the Bachchan residence. The occasion: Holi.

But naturally—the industry turned up in full force—Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, Karan Johar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Rani Mukerji, Preity Zinta, Tabu, Shilpa Shetty, Arshad Warsi and who have you.

The Bachchans, as always, were the most gracious hosts with Amitabh Bachchan greeting each and every guest with gulal, Abhishek spraying them with colour and water from the garden hose and Jaya Bachchan graciously saying a namaste.

Some privileged guests like Adnan Sami and Sanjay Leela Bhansali were personally carried by the Bachchans Sr and Jr and dunked in a bathtub placed in the garden.

The food was Hindustani and the spirits ranged from bhaang to wine, Bloody Marys to beer.

The guests danced with gusto to Bachchan’s Holi numbers and Viju Shah’s band struck up tunes at full volume for special requests.

The highlight of the event: Amar Singh and Shah Rukh Khan burying the hatchet after their now infamous heated exchange in Dubai. Which made the Bachchans extremely happy. After all, Jayaji is extremely fond of SRK and Amitabh considers Amar Singh his younger brother.
